According to the BBC News website (sorry but I'm not allowed to post the link to the actual article yet) says that the previous government has been returned to power with a slightly reduced majority.

I would imagine that this is pretty good news for the property market as it has certainly been doing well during the time that this government has been in power to date (since 2002).

I've read reports that the Turkish market has been in a 'wait and see' position over the past couple of months with prices falling in some areas (again, I'm not allowed to give you a link to the actual article yet). Hopefully now the status quo has resumed, prices will go back to rising again.
