Hi all,
GW- I KNOW THIS IS A DEBATE ON DIFFERENT POINTS OF VIEW, SO TRY NOT TO TAKE THINGS TOO PERSONALLY!!!
I understand where you are coming from regarding the issues which I am fully aware of but like I said who knows...????
At the moment its a case of flipping a coin and seeing which side it lands on!!
You are right to a certain extent maybe there is alot of hype about brazil at the moment- as it is a new place on the map thats come into the light for investment!
Regarding spain -Iknow exactly what yoiu mean as I am half spanish and have relatives in spain!!
It has suffered from a dramatic case of over-hyped and over-inflated prices, oversupply and saturation and the economy is in the red and in serious decline because of this!
People are having to reduce property prices by upto 30% as they cannot sell and are still having problems even after reducing as there are no buyers or takers at the moment!
Developers are trying to sell their companies and shares before they go bust but still no takers and developments yet again are on standstill due to financial reasons and lack of sales!!!
Brazil is a NEW market and a buyers market so it is in the VERY EARLY STAGES and this is the RISK FACTOR!!!
Ihave choosen to take this risk and the consequences to go with it whatever that may or may not be...????
This is not the first time I have invested abroad or at this an earloy stage so I have seen the way in which countries have developed over time before regarding -travel,tourism,developments and infrastrucure- and everything has been a learning curve for me!!!
But once I make a decision I "stick to it" regardless of the "GOOD OR BAD"!!!
And believe me I am not wearing "rose tinted glasses" I see both sides of the situation so I am prepared to ride it out and sit and wait to see what the future holds!!!
See ya D
