I do not think some of the price comparisons for random pieces of land posted on here are representative, as with JDLR you are buying in to a 'resort' concept rather than an isolated property.
This is a concept being utilised across the globe, eg the King's developments in Morocco and more famously, Polarisworld.
This should make the properties more attractive for both owner/buyers as well as rental investors.
Personally, I think the location is good, as it is 30/40 mins from both Alicante and Valencia.
With regards to the profit potential, only time will tell but the spanish market should have settled in 4 years time (when development here is planned) and there will always be demand for quality.
Oh, and I have more faith in JDLR than Torregrande, whose offices in the town had been closed down when we passed.
