In the UK all solicitors have professional indemnity insurance through the Law Society and claims may be made against this.

Is there any similar situation in Spain and is a lawyer obliged to inform
his client of the insurers.

If so how about some group approach to the leading insurers in respect of the worst lawyers that we have experienced.
