I hear it is end of 2010. Below is the message I received from Alattar (after I made an inquiry):

Below is the latest update from our Project Manager on the status of Global Point. Pictures are now available at

• Appointed Consultant and Contractor
• Master plan approved by Management
• Concept design approved by the Master Developer
• Site fencing completed
• Ready for shoring piling and excavation
• Compliance Certificate has been awarded by Nakheel
The site fencing has been completed. Enabling works that will take us through shoring, piling and excavation is now expected to start.
Our appointed Consultant is in the process of obtaining the No Objection Certificate from relevant Dubai authorities for the main construction work. Anticipated completion is 2010.
Please be advised also that due to the delay, we recommend to collect your 5th and 6th installment six (6) months after the basement is finished as stated in the Memorandum of Understanding attached herewith. A Revised Payment Plan will be cascaded to all clients after January 15, 2008.
