Paylor,

Your post is rather vague as you give no details of your financial situation nor your location.

If you have a full time job & a good credit record you should not have a problem. If you can afford to pay market rent then there is every chance you can pay a mortgage. If you don't have a deposit then look at one of the new builds offered by the big developers; they are desperate for buyers and are offering lots of sweeteners. On some developments Barratts, for example, are even offering "move in for £99". Of course, all offers, be it deposit paid, 'free' carpets & white goods etc. are factored into the asking price, but if you are intending to live there for a few years, that shouldn't be an issue.
