I can sympathize with you here. I am actively seeking a move out of the uk and my 10year old son was not accepting of this.

My step in the right direction? He is very keen on Tortoises, he actively cares for them at home and I suppose you could say they were his hobby!
I joined a chat forum in the country I intend going and he is meeting new people this way and getting to know their way of life. He is starting to look forward to the move now Perhaps something like this may help.

You suggest you would like some International Education, are you planning private fee paying school or state school. Which area of the uk are you aiming for. Although the Education system is very similar throughout there are a few differences between the Scottish Education and the English Education Laws/system.
