Default cost of living

Maybe you dont live here, but on a permanent basis it is very expensive now,I wouldnt mind its has 3rd rate restaurants, cinema tickets, cabs, hotels, supermarket stuff (except meat and chicken).Considering the very limited choice it is expensive and many people are leaving as they cannot make a decent living .

Although I haven't been back in the last 3 months, two of my colleagues have visited Natal since then and I've heard no reports of the cost of life being the same as anywhere in Europe. Another two of my colleagues are flying to Rio tomorrow. Should I'll go warn them that the cost of living will be comparable to Lisbon, Paris, Berlin or London?
