Have you already heard that there are REPORTEDLY some
problems with getting a residence visa if you own a property
in Egypt? Especially if your property did not cost much.
Also REPORTEDLY.

What do you think about it? Is it only a rumour?
Egypt seems to be a country which just BEGINS to
attract visitors, so such policies would not be understandable.
