Risk-reward, risk-reward-risk-reward etc. etc. etc. ad nauseam ... ALL investment is a "gamble" so don't use that word as if you are holding your nose while saying it !! Indeed, it is all too often the "safe investments" that turn out to be not so safe, and the "crazy gambles" that turn out to be the much more prudent investments. Clearly, you are not a shrewd investor.
