Keep your wits about you. As has already been highlighted, there is a lot going on that shouldn't be. At the very least choose your own lawyer and make sure he is totally independent of the company you are buying from. Always be wary of 'in house' legal services. And remember - Calabria has attracted a lot of publicity recently but there is much, much more to Italy than just Calabria. It is a country rich in history and culture - and it changes from top to bottom. Buy wisely and safely.
