I'm having a nightmare about transporting my dog to Egypt.
I received paperwork saying that all her documentation had to be stamped by the egyptian embassy in London but we have a big problem with the time.
Her final paperwork cannot be completed until 96 hours before we fly but the egyptian embassy said that it would take 3 working days to process the paperwork. This time frame just does not add up.
Have you any idea what options are open for us? What would happen if we arrived in Hurghada airport without the embassy stamp?
Thanks very much

Dear Lyndsay,
The pets' import/export issue remains a nightmare in Egypt I know. Just please do not violate the procedures or they would keep her in a box in the medical custody until the papers are all finished. It takes time I know and the procedures may be so hard, but please be patient, as this is the only legitimate way to let your pet in, in a good medical condition. And I apologize but there are no various options here, as Egypt is too strict about this issue, in fear of epidemics / diseases transmitted by animals from a country to another. I am a dog lover myself and always had dogs all my life, so I know exactly what you're going through, and this is why I don't want you to violate the rules or the dog may be put in conditions that you may not consider as 'best conditions'. You can delay your flight or something until the paperworks for her are all done.
All the best,
Zeiad Yehia
