my husband and myself have bought 3 properties on the Island of Itamaraca. We first went there 18 months ago and fell in love with the place. The people are friendly the cost of living is very very cheap and the properties are at the moment a ridiculously low price. We have joined forces with a local Estate Agent named Paulo and set up a Web Site to sell properties at the local prices not inflated like some agents are trying to do.
