Dear Wayneis! Thanks for your comment. If you would make a little more effort to view all the up to date web based pages and if you are not colour blind (your referenced map has only the Red and Green lines) you will see that the latest addition of the Blue and Purple lines into the Dubai Metro are linking all the new and proposed projects such the International City (IC) and Dubai Land in the desert. The Blue line goes along the Emirates Road and the IC is located very close to the Emirates road. I am sure you wouldn't wish the line goes underneath of your building. Please smile and be optimistic as much as you can.
Though my information in the previous message were based on my personal talk with local people in Dubai you may also wish to view the proposed Metro routes in the up to date Wikimedia web site map (the system here somehow did not allow me quote the full website address for you). I think Buddy also has just posted some more information on this matter. Thanks Buddy for helping me to get away from Wayneis who seemed to abit angry with initial comments (smile).
