Default Flight answer

Just fly to Salvador then take http://www.webjet.com.br/ to wherever you want to go.
Alternatively fly TAP which is far better quality and certainly frequent and full, to most worthwhile destinations in the Northeast.

Most people don't complain about the flight cost difference coming to Cearį...is there an underlying issue here ... maybe it's just so much better than Sal or Nat...any comments welcome.

I am sure if the 2 biggest complainers on this forum were based in Cearį you wouldn't hear the end of expensive flights .

The Recife Condor flight is to Frankfurt every Monday. I did it a few weeks ago and it was OK.

You can get same day connections both ways to and from Heathrow, or fly from any main UK airport the previous day to get the flight from Frankfurt to Recife.

There are connections from Frankfurt to most main UK airports on the day of arrival.

You can also book it one way or return in either direction.

Depends who you are comparing them to. If you compare TAP to Delta, Tap is very high quality. I fly with TAP at least three times a year to different locations and have done since I was very young. I've flown once in my life with Delta and will be avoiding them like the plague ever since.

The best Delta flight I have ever had was after I took a wrong turn driving from San Francisco to LA taking the US 1 along the Big Sur which was really nice but slow. It took me 11 hours instead of the 4 or 5 it was supposed to on the freeway. I fell asleep in the plane before it took off and woke up 2 hours out of Sydney so I didn't have to eat the delta food or put up with their service .

Back to Brazil: I am still waiting for a copy of the September "A Place in the Sun" magazine, but someone told me there is a mention about Thomson flights going to Natal next year. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, Rob, I just got an email from the UK saying that there is a quote in there of Thomsons getting 2 flights a week into Natal from 2009 - quote from Thomsons...
