Yes, which man hasn't been approached by garotas de programa at some time in Brazil unless ofcourse you never left the house. But even so I suppose it's just logical isn't it;why would she ask for money without offering her services first.

It's the same type of logic as to why diferrent states don't have diferent minimum salaries.

Unless ofcourse she was begging but then I don't suppose Dave would have mistaken her for a prostitute.

I know this post is old but was wondering if you are talking about the same area - Jacuma Beach Resort. I have a really beautiful beachfront house in Jacuma near the project and usually go their in the weekends, the access is never a problem. Yes, this winter there were a few potholes from the heavy rains but they were fixed up already. Asphalt road right to the front door of the future project, much better than most roads in Natal! Anyway, one of the few regions in Natal where foreigners in the future will enjoy to stay. About GNG (is a dead project will never go off the ground, thankfully = overdevelopment) however, Natal Elegance Golf will continue and will start (one 18-hole golfcourse).

I actually tried to get to Jacuma Beach, but there was a hugh lagoon caused by torrential rain that had clogged up the surrounding small roads,so did not get to it.I know Jacuma very well ,always on a dry day ,but first visit on a bad rainy day,and yes,it put me off .QUOTE=Joachim;75877]I know this post is old but was wondering if you are talking about the same area - Jacuma Beach Resort. Christian,

You need a CPF number before you can remit funds to Brazil (legally).
The CPF must be attached to an address which in my case is my lawyer's address in Brazil.
I know plenty of people that have just recently sent money without a Brazilian address.

Regards,
Rob.

Christian - Rob is right. There is no such new law, you only need a CPF number to buy in Brazil, and the address is where they send the actual card to.

Yep - that has happened here as well - to the local Caixa Economica Federal, the only bank on the island, where they initiate CPFs for people!
