Default Planning Licences.

No suprising revelations here surely people.
Anyone conducting even a modicom of due dillegence would be aware there are major licensing hurdles for Sanchez.

Realistically,Ronaldos fame and Bandesars on screen presence are less likely to impress at Ibama-the chief obstacle.Fasten your seatbelts folks you are in for a long bumpy ride.
Sanchez have not got a prayer of pushing this through within 12 months. This means that anyone that is not in for the long haul who has paid the objectionally excessive deposit(imho) will contractually be entitled to a full refund.(Without interest i might add.)
Trust this also answers your query DeeDee.

[quote=TONYC1234;10706]Hi All , I'm Really Debating If I Should Reserve Next Week For My Three Bedroom Penthouse In Gran Natal. One Of My Concerns Is How To Get There From Toronto. It Seems As Though There Are No Direct Flights FROM TORONTO. Need To Go To Sao Paulo first Then Take Another Plane To Get To Natal. Does Anyone Know How To Get there From Toronto.

Try Lisbon with TAP, sounds ridiculous but the only way into Brasil so it seems is via SP/Rio, exactly my point in my golfing thread. Or you might get a flight into Recife via Miami check the Brasil departs website, I cant post the link but message me if you want. This is my very point about all this so called expansion and it is a big issue. To my mind, developers need to be lobbying airlines, then there will be a stampede!

I say the longer the better. As long as people secure something, thats all that matters. Prices in the development and region itself will still appreciate as time goes on. I am definitely in it for the long haul, and with such a small initial reservation fee it works out even better, than putting down an actual deposit.

AI-I take it you did not reserve a Penthouse then ,as 12,000 Euros is not what i would classify as a small reservation fee.The norm is c3,000

At even instant access rates that is 780 Euros p.a. in lost interest, though i am prepared to speculate and hang on in there too even though at best the odds of the development going ahead in its present form are 30:70 against.

Odds of proceeding in a revised scaled down format approx 50:50 so it is far too premature to congratulate ourselves on those recent and future "price increases"

Hi all,

I agree ausinv- the longer the better as it will give me more time to arrange my finances for the 1st installment aswell!!

Any way clearlt there are a few on the brazil forum who intend on posting negatively about this emerging market- why is that???

What are your intentions for doing so??? My guess is that certain agents are trying to discourage others from buying here in order to promote themselves and THEIR products only????

Still happy and confident with my choices-time will tell for all!!
Dont worry be happy!!!
Keep smiling!!
See ya D

Default Grand Natal

Deedee,
I am unsure if you are making reference to my posting ,though do not confuse negativity with realism.I have TWO penthouses on reserve here (feel at liberty to check with Lisa the agent) and on paper have gained over 70,000 Euros in equity,so believe me,nobody would like this to proceed more than myself!

Hi all,

some usefull info!

This is a site I use often to check up on flight news called
Cheap flights by Just the Flight UK discount air fares specialist

This is an article Ive seen on it recently:

New route improves connections to Brazilian capital
Portuguese airline TAP Portugal commences flights from Lisbon to Brasilia on 19 July, making them the first airline to offer direct international flights to the Brazilian capital.

The flights will operate five times weekly, using Airbus A330 aircraft. The new services will significantly reduce travelling times for passengers connecting between London and Brasilia.

The new route has been introduced in response to substantial interest in tourism in Brasilia and Central Brazil.

The airline is also increasing frequency on its flights from Lisbon to Rio De Janeiro and Sao Paulo, making a total of 60 TAP flights per week between Portugal and Brazil. The airline's other Brazilian destinations include Natal, Recife, Fortaleza and Salvador.

It has recently been announced that the Portuguese authorities have given approval for TAP's acquisition of rival Portuguese carrier PGA Portugalia.

The same site I retrieved the emirates info from aswell!

See ya D

Hi lisa,

Thankyou for clarrifying the p1s layout for me !

And the confirmation that WG has bought- although that was not something I have ever questioned at any point!

Lisa- so has all the planning applications been submitted for the whole project or only the elegance section of the resort...????

Will they submit each phase individually or altogether at once and build according to the permissions and licences thbat they receive...???

Also I have heard that GS only own the land that elegance is on and not the rest...???
Someone has mentioned that GS are having problems aquiring the other plots of land- but nothing serious I hope can you confirm this...?????

Thanx Lisa

see ya d

P.S Also will there be another price increase when the licence for elegance comes through????
