With BT we were being attacked without knowledge about the person, with spurious allegations of wrongdoings etc. as if we had some illicit agenda in even being on the forum!
In BT's defence I can confirm quite a few of the claims that he made and he has seen off a few charlatans from this forum.

Regarding anonymity wouldn't you put golfingworld in the same category??

Rob....forgive me if I'm being presumptious in any of my statements, but did you not see BT put words in people's mouths? Make huge assumptions about specific individuals and specific situations? Neglect to contact admins. nor give an avenue to make contact? Obviously, he used an email other than the one he uses or changed his email address registered here after he signed up on this site. Are you condoning this type of behavior? And thank god this is all in print because we can quote the statements and specific assumptions made.

As far as I'm concerned I've not only been willing but have given ways to confirm any doubts that others may or might have had about anything that I've stated or presented here. When someone, or some group, continues to condone, or suport someone that has told outright lies in making complete assumptions about others specifically, it raises an eyebrow.

Ralph,

I am not condoning any of his behaviour and I am sure he has not always been right, I am merely pointing out that he has caught out a few people on this forum and I can confirm in those cases what he said was true.

Rob.

Well I guess he appears to be anonymous to most- but I have met him in Natal, and I can only say that he is a different personality in the flesh!! and good company. I am sure that if you PM him you will find his real name out soon enough! I did invite Been There to chat, but he obviously preferred to remain incognito for his own personal reasons. I have also met, No_Bulls**t, celt, and wolfgang among others with handles, and some of you with real names too, and all are really good company.
I look forward to meeting more of you and if you get to Natal, please let me know you are coming.

No problem Rob, why don't you spend as much time as I do in Brazil, rather than on the Costa del Sol then you can meet everyone that comes through! But there again the Costa del Sol is the world centre for Brazilian investment isnt it. Sleeves rolled up mate not Google and Ga Ga!

GW...you said I was in for a "rough road" after I initially opened this thread and you were right...I got attacked on a couple different fronts. And if you read my posts I do nothing but give potential investors good advice. I don't tell them to take mine, but to obtain good lawyers and other professionals here on the ground that they trust AND that are independant of the agents and developers!

Ralph, it is about Agendas my friend you are on territory I believe as are a couple of others, the ones that attack you or deal in cliches are usually somewhere between Sotogrande and Valencia trying their best to entice "armchair" buyers...it is those very armchairs buyers the potentially fuel and scams that might be out there as simply they don't or won't get off their backsides to listen, look and learn. The Agenda is that those experts on Brazil who are based on The Med don't want the likes of you and me saying something that might deter an upfront deposit from the unitiated. There is a simple solution to this, let the Med boys open up real offices here with real staff here or let the buyer beware and visit Brazil for themselves, take time and keep their eyes and ears very firmly open.

You nailed that one! And it didn't take me too long to figure out that those that are in "attack" mode evidently have some sort of agenda.

I do believe I have spent much more time in Brazil than you have GW?? We also have reps out there who you can meet anytime if you are serious about buying something.

I nearly forgot, I will be out there again in 10 days.
