No evidence? How much do you want? I can only speak from my experiences. I didn't make a blanket statement saying everyone that invests in brazil will get robbed...that there are ONLY thieves in Brazil. As that is not the case. But unfortunately, in my experience, everyone I have met here in Brazil were foreign investors from england and were here for keifer robins "projects", or purchased at Viva Vida. At least at Viva Vida people got their homes, in the former case no one got anything! As far as proof, well, I'm chalk full of proof. Do you want the newspaper articles concerning Keifer or the police warrants? In the case of Viva Vida do you want the testimony of the 33 homeowners or the contracts where they were sold properties 50% to 150% more than the brazilian homeowners?

beenthere, of course I want to sell properties. But you know what? If I would have to resort to lying and not informing clients on how to do it the proper way I would much rather just sell our beachfront land that we currently have. We would make quite a nice profit on it at the current moment with the valuation of the real and would be a helluva lot less headaches for me.

My problem is these people that have came to Aracaju in the past several years, didn't invest one cent, and literally robbed people and misinformed them. They've given Aracaju a bad name. Now that they've came here and taken a big dump many of them have moved further up north, to places like Piaui, Natal, and Fortaleza.

See the problem I have is when a few posts earlier you say every english person you have met has had some problem and been misinformed. This implies that English people are getting ripped off by everybody (except you of course ).

The next post you mention that all the English people that you have met and who bought something, bought at the two scams you mention.

There is a big difference between these two statements.

LOL...buddy, here in Aracaju over the past four years there have only been these two developments...one was a "so-called" development. The project that my company constructed was not a condominium, we did not sell this to the public. It was for our (my partners) own personal use. But it illustrates that we have invested and built successfully in Brazil. It is a "house", complex would be the better word. It is the second largest, nicest house in the city. I will post pictures of it soon as we will accept offers on it.

so, just to tell you, with our current projects of 3 condominiums, the land, architectural, engineering projects as well as the topographical maps. Legal fees, taxes, etc, and the complex that we built for ourselves, we have invested close to four million reais of our own money and have yet to earn one red cent in profit. We didn't rush to sell. We didn't rush to do anything before everything was correct and legal.

Whilst I don't like doing business with scam artists, I am not sure about doing business with a businessman who doesn't want to make a profit.

You sure you are not a commie??
