It absolutely does not take weeks to get a titled deed.It is quick and can be 2 days but the maximum I have had to wake is maybe 10/15 days.

Hello, I am in the middle of purchasing on Coral Beach, I have still not received the SEMACE license copy which seems so important. Can anybody who has purchased confirm they have seen it?

Hi there, here is a copy, i do not believe there would be an issue with me showing you this, I hope you find it useful. It took me a while to receive as they were renewing the old one, as it must be done each year. The first was granted in 1992. So it is fair to say the area doesnt change that much so a safe bet for land banking. Best of luck.

Hello and thanks for your interesting discussion so far. I am in Perth Australia - a very long way off, so confirmation before I get on a plane or whatever would be great. I am thinking about a property i have seen advertised in Coral Beach, Fortaleza. Is this a great place or not? Beach front etc and close to a big town? Please advise and I will help you with help on Australia if need be!

I have purchased there. It is a lovely project, very large green community, low build density, and on one of the best beaches in the world, well, according to the washington post.

the price is very good, location superb, there is a 5 star hotel called the orixas just 500m away and major kitesuring etc, described as the capital of the world for these types of sport.

lagoon at the back to please the domestic market, with floating restaurant etc.. hotel planned for centre and a beach club at the front.

i have not visited but have spoken to some who have. they all agree the site is remarkable and that owning a house there will be incredible and so valuable. If you think, you can build a 3 bed there for less than 100k usd.

the new road links coral beach to fortaleza, and the journey will soon be reduced to a little over 30 minutes.

the world cup and other events, olympics etc make brazil a good bet, and for what i am paying i know i will make money, so my advice doug is to get involved.

Whats the story in Aus then?

Hi Doug, Was just woundering what the flight situation was from Australia to North East Brazil, what flight companies and prices etc?? This is a bit off topic for this perticular thread so would be worth you replying if you can in the flights topic thread so avoiding to annoy anybody.

From what I understand Coconut Grove will not be going ahead because of land ownership issues.
