The disput of other people was not even an issue as the government are so keen for us to develop. Have you seen the forum on real estate international on this website, there are some interesting points there.

What would you do, money back or buy with them again?

Is this the same developer as Coral Beach?
well, this is definetly fishy, keith did that happen in coral beach development too?

well regardless, if they are right or not, they should have sorted fisherman dwellings well before they actually sold the development.

Hi Ady

No, I am sorry to be confusing. I have just read Sarahs post and all appears to be good in the coral beach development, I was asking if it was same developer, but please read sarahs last post!!

apologies for being unclear!

From what I have been told, the developers who were formally running Coconut Grove are no longer involved in the project, which would make sense as they stopped answering my emails a long time ago, and the people responsible for Coral Beach are now looking to take over the project, which might explain some of the confusion.

ok, now a few things make sense.

I still favour Coral Beach due to its location and surroundings and overall concept, plus price per m2 etc, just all round a better deal.

thanks for clearing up the confusion!!

Another explanation would be that the developers at Coconut Grove have done a deal with Coral Beach and are trying to move their clients on, lock stock and barrel from a site which cannot be built on to a nearby one which can.
If this is the case ,all the information, promises and costings provided by Coconut Grove are probably meaningless and purchasers will have to re-evaluate all aspects from the very beginning.

wolfgang, I would recommend speaking directly to my point of contact in Coral Beach, they were very good and useful and it is actually quite simple, which trust me is refreshing!!! I am sure they could answer your questions. The price is actually less than that of Coconut Grove, and the site makes a lot more sense. I have been researching both for 6 weeks now, and I would love to share my findings with anyone.

Hi Ady, I have looked into Coral Beach because of all the recent interest, and have found a really nice development, and very cheap. The developer has told me that they are launching so cheap because a they can and b they want to create a reputation in this area.

Following the previous couple of posts, they have said that they will assist in placing people who have already purchased in Coconut Grove. They can get you into Coconut Grove, or technically no longer called coconut grove, or they can get you into Coral Beach, which is apparently the better option.

They have looked at securing the site, but they explained that the land owners are currently in business with them, so will help anybody who still wants to get involved.

cocnut grove is in a location less favourable to Coral Beach and is 8km south. Coral Beach apparently is in a nicer area, with better surroundings and of vourse a lagoon also on the site. The project goes from the sea to the lagoon, with clubs on each end already approved. Roads are already under way, logisitics approved etc.

If you want this information just call them, it took me 2 minutes to find this all out!

Sarah, are you talking to the developer or an agent?

Keith,

I am talking with an agency, but I did not pay more for it, the commissions apparently get paid but that doesnt effect me!!!

I have not heard of Coconut Grove, but will ask them later today. Are you buying on Coral Beach?

I have just sent my power of attorney to the lawyer in Brazil, apparently I can expect my CPF number in next 7 days. What stage are you at?

Ady, I would recommend getting involved in Coral Beach, there is only good press on it, and many of us have been looking into it.
