It is definately going ahead, they have move the project 500m north of its original location, onto un inhabited land. The land allocation is bigger than before, therefore persons whom have already reserved plots or paid for lots have been given larger plots for the same money. The dispute wasnt a dispute as such more to do with not wanting up root the 60 houses on the site, in a bid to work with the locals, and agreement was made with authoroies to move the site, this is being finalised as we speak, I have my new plot layouts and new site layout plans.

Cheers

Glad to hear it.

Keep in mind however, that to purchase land, requalify that land and apply for the numerous licenses, have the studies carried out by the competent authorities and eventually receive all the licenses required to start selling (let alone start building) is a lengthy process everywhere in the world, especially in Brazil and should be expected to take upwards of at least 12 months.

wow, jaseypoo, how would you know that? you only know what you have been told. Coconut grove, disaster on day 1. Id rather not have the risk thatn have to put up with the issues i have seen over the last 6 months. It depreses me to even think of the ammount of negativity i have heard surrounding that project. depressing.

At a bare minimum 12 months. In my experience, 18-24 is more the norm.

Absolutely, 12 months in Brazil is probably the fastest I've seen and that involved a lot of "cunhas".
