The enormous storm yesterday in Natal flooded all through the city and coastline. The roads soon clogged up with 1 meter of rain, roads closed, electrcity down, amenities quickly closed down, clinics, schools and shops. The hugh flooding was caused by very poor sanitational infrastructure and extremly poor planning. It just never seems to amaze me of the governments inablity to work things out.The prefeitura are charging 25,000,000 million reais to pavement the roads in Campio Macio but they just cannot seem to work out that they need to put drains and sewers inplace aswell. The building work has naturally contributed to this devastation as there is nowhere for anything to go,so what you have now when it rains heavily is a rather unpleasant small and a total chaos and it is only a small city!

Went for a long drive over the weekend and noticed rather a large amount of empty properties on small condos all along the South and North that have been finished for well over a year or 2 and they all still remain empty and abandoned .Enquired about the prices of a development that was finished a couple of years back, the price is still the same, the beach properties all looked pretty weathered and in need of a good clean and repaint.I wondered where were all the buyers if any out of interest and the coast was deserted.Try to figure that out because I have been here a good few years ??

Up and down the coast Rob.Take a look you will be surprised how many are totally vacant without any movement at all.Look at the weathered buildings in need of painting and faded wood (condos)and for sale signs and go and enquire as I am not as familiar with the names of the condos as yourself. They will be able to give you the price at the porteria and they are not going up!

Could you please answer the question that Rob asked you. Not too difficult is it? Which particular development did you stop and ask the price and what research have you to substantiate your claims re price movements.

Rob if you go North and South you will come across various empty condos.Go to the portoria and get the price. There should be people in them but there are not!And as it has been almost 1/2 yrs there should be!So when I say that things do not sell as well as you may think they do they actually dont!I do know what I am talking about and the prices are the same as pre la.Ok.It is so annoying. Now I have Micheal nit picking.Researching is the key.I do not advertise for agents so I cannot name them ,sorry.
