I'm happy to announce that over the last several months we have received 2 decisions from the state court of Sergipe and both have been in favor of english investors that were sold a bill of goods that were different than agreed upon. The last decision coming just a few days ago and completely and totally in favor of the english investor(s).

It pleases me to say that MJR played a critical role in helping these people achieve justice and confirms my already existing belief, as well as experience, that unfortunately there are many unseemly characters in Brazil but justice does exist.

Congratulations to everyone this pertains to and the fight is not over yet, we still have more in the courts, but some enormous victories have been won so far!!

What happened then. What was the scam ? if you can summarise.

Better to ask what didn't happen!!



Projects were made and sold on land that wasn't owned by the developer. Foreigners were sold properties for 2X and more than locals were buying for. Deeds were not given after 5 years of payments being made. Everything that one can imagine going wrong went wrong.

But don't fret and things are being resolved thanks to many well-meaning people!
