Having read today that fuel price protests and strikes are now beginning to increase around the globe ,do you think it could and possibly will hit the air industry also ?

We aren't getting any fuel strikes in the USA, but the price of fuel is severely affecting the airlines. Some airlines are going bankrupt. Many airlines are cutting routes and raising prices.

It's certainly going to have the effect of raising fares and probably going to do away with the very cheap bargain fares.
