Now in Abu Dhabi is going on a Picasso exhibition (186 paintings, sculptures...) in the Emirates Palace Hotel (7 stars). We visited it 2 weeks ago (great!). It will go on until the end of August, and it is free. The Abu Dhabi Sheikh (a very well educated person) just financed it to promote Abu Dhabi. NE of Brazil cannot afford things like that (please, don't tell me that in Brazil pieces could be stolen...Gosh, I just said; shame on me!)
In Europe, Museums grow on trees…They are everywhere, and they are fantastic. I don’t see a museum as a must for a foreigner. Don’t take me wrong, we love museums. Every city we visit, my now 10 years old son, push me to see all museums in town.
But in Natal, for a raining day, I believe an amateur theater, a cultural house with pieces from unknown artists, or a street show (capoeira, frevo, samba,…no raining tough) will do it. These simple things may be quite appealing for a European tourist. I don’t know if Natal has it, but should; it’s cheap and will be nice to locals and visitors.

Well if Wilma's son and party had not just stolen 36 million reais from Samu(health care) in Natal then possibly we could have some more interesting stuff going on. The money just keeps going back to the party members.

And you know because the Feds just arrested him, the press is talking, and the Court denied a Habeaus Corpus. And he is the Governor's son and the Governor is a political allied of the President. That wouldn't have happened 15 years ago, I can tell you that.
But you are right, it is unacceptable.
But you are wrong, I mean, your museum theory;

Museums in Natal are very lame,but other cities have interesting stuff going on.Mossoro has a rich variety of Cultural Art and invest a lot of money into it,well considering it's a small City ,
not bad!

Why , because the government have also been robbing money that was supposed to go into the Popular Culture of Natal and the Popular Theatro is a fine example of this rotten government!

Since you are using a public forum for making an accusation, and considering that you have been living in Brazil for a long time, you should denounce it as well to the authorities. There are a couple of them to handle that; Feds, that just arrested Governor’s son, are only one of them.
But if it was a mistake, and you have just a generic feeling that politicians are worthless (which they are, by definition), you should first pay a visit to the local cultural secretary and check what they are up to (or not up to). In the South, cultural affairs people not necessarily have good management skills, but they are always from the métier (sculptures, writers, musicians,…). Then, you can do something about it. How about an article in the local newspaper regarding cultural activities in Natal? You can point out the Mossoro case as an example.
In this forum, you used to say that restaurants in Natal were awful, tough people on the ground there disputed that. But I give you for granted that things can be improved in Natal. As I said before, to promote unknown artists is easy and cheap, it must be done.

Unfortunately,Brasil doesn't work the way you would like it to work denounced or not! The cultural org have been dealing with the above mentioned and as far as we know the people are still free .

As for restaurants I mentioned there were a few good ones and plenty of restaurants that serve exactly the same food that are not that appealing .

If you get to visit Natal then try Sal e Brasa,Duas Marias,Tabua De Carne,Camaroes ,Farol Bar(simple local place ,but good)not to forget McDonalds!!
