00 34 is Spain - Oh and starting with a 6 tends to be a mobile, however I guess with today's technology I suppose it could have a call-forward to India.

"SL" generally indicates a Spanish company, as it stands for "Sociedad Limitada" and SA a Portuguese company as it means "Sociedade Anónima", the same way GMBH indicates a German company.

But I'm guessing that anyone calling a Spanish mobile to speak to a lady with an Irish (?) surname might recognise an "Indian dude" by the depth of his voice and his accent. The fact that a mans voice answers and not a ladys would generally tip me off.

So the person isn't "pretending to be an American lady in Brazil", if she is an Indian dude pretending at all (I don't know her personally) then she would be pretending to be based in Spain. Oh, and their website says they are based in Torremolinos, Málaga.

Default response to jm boards paranoia

Hello,

Extremely surprised at the level of paranoia on this forum, i initially entered in this forum because i am an investor myself and i am seeking to invest further in either brazil or russia and intially seemed to be quite a number of smart businesspeople congregated here.

I am also a freelance property agent permanently residing and successfully conducting business from the beautifull costa del sol, spain. I sell on behalf of numerous well respected developers in ireland, england, spain and brazil.

I am definetly irish and extremely proud, that is my real name and private spanish mobile listed.

I dont think i solicited anything or made any extraordinary price promises in my 1 line post, simply stated i may have some bargains slightly above this budget.

Emerging Property Markets SL is a newly formed spanish limited company or sociedad limitada as jmboard quite correctly pointed out, we are a small number of experienced freelance agents operating in conjunction with a very well respected investment company and direct with a developer in brazil.

I definetly think i have a very feminine voice with an extremely strong south dublin accent, i certainly havent been mistaken for an indian male as of yet but jm could have caught me out after a hards night socialising,

If anyone has any property bargains in brazil or any of the B.R.I.C nations they feel i would be interested in or would like marketed please pm me.

Likewise i would appreciate any contructive suggestions from experienced investors please get in touch.

as bob said its good to talk

Hi Maria- I am in Brasil (NE) and have many good opportunities - send an e-mail and I will respond. We specialise in land and projects in a wide range of prices.

Maria, just to clarify, I was trying to point out Raimundo's paranoia, possibly I was too subtle with my sarcasm - I didn't say I called you, I was merely saying that if someone calls a phone number expecting to speak to a lady and ended up speaking to a man with a heavy accent (any accent) then they may be tipped off that something is amiss. (If nothing else that they have dialled the wrong number)
