Buying property abroad to let.

Hello all!

me and my brother are plasterers and started buying property local to us about 16 months ago. We have 2 properties now, both we rent out.
We now find ourselves ready for a next project, we have about 25k cash to put towards it. Was thinking of Spain, Bulgaria, Hungary, Cyprus...
can anybody give me some advice on good directions to take this?
I have read the posts here on Bulgaria, and that sounds great, but the cheap flights seem to suggest Spain.
We plan to do the renovations ourselves, so traveling will be an issue.

Hi

We get asked all the time to sell property in Bulgaria - from some very well known sources. I am still not yet convinced it will be that safe. maybe that's just me but there is a great deal of talk about crime etc in the country and in the property market. We may well get involved soon but only after some serious investigation first. There are lots of other places without that being one of the high risks.

You should go for Spain if traveling is a main issue. Then maybe you could use the money you would have spent traveling if you would have chosen Cyprus, Bulgaria or Hungary to buy a property in those countries next.
