Looking for a decent Profit Margins

Hi

So far I have developed 3 properties but these have all been live in properties, I have made money on each one and once complete have moved to a new house. The house we (Wife and I) are in now, was supposed to be another one, but we liked it so much, we spent more money on it that we should have so decided to keep it and live in it. So we are looking to start again at the bottom, this is now purely for profit with the hopeful aim of doing it full time.

So a quick questions, what?s a sensible margin I should look for?

As this is our first one we are not too bothered about making thousands, we just want to make sure we can walk away with some profit and go from there.

Any opinions?
