Default Foreclosures in the USA

I'm sending a web site address. It will give you an idea of what is available in foreclosures in the USA. You need the zip code (postal code), which you can easily find for any town in the USA by searching on Google.

The website is one where you pay for information, but you can see the information about the houses without paying, just not the contact information. I've never paid for information, because information about foreclosures in public record at the county courthouse. I ony buy locally, so it's easy for me to research local foreclosures.

It's also easy to see list prices on Realtor.com or google real estate in the town you are interested in and you'll get lots of real estate agents and their listings. That way you can compare the price for the foreclosures to the asking price in the area.

On Foreclosures, it is expected that you will offer less (sometimes much less) than what the bank is asking for.

It's also pretty musch standard that you will have extensive repairs on foreclosures, so that must be budgeted for.

I'm interested in buying property in the US for flipping after renovating. Would really be grateful for any advice.

Buying REO or foreclosures is better?
When buying these do we get to see a report of a survey about the exact condition of the house. The things you can't see in pictures Ie. plumbing, wiring, internal etc. ( to avoid surprises later which add cost and time for repairs).
Is it better to hire 1 contractor to do the whole renovation? Do they supply the material or do we need to buy separately? Ie wooden floors, paint, tiles etc.

How many bedrooms in a house for best flip potential?

How to know where the best location is? Is there any info online about home buyer's index/statistics in particular suburbs?

Thank you in advance for any input or feedback.
