Hello Ollie,

My dad asks me to write to tell you he wants to let you have his allotment. He has a greenhouse on it and grows all kinds of flowers, dahlias, chrysanthumums and roses. Its a big plot amost 40 x 40 metres..................and has an oil well.

The oil well is a bit messy but he is prepared to let you have it at a good price. It does 8000 barrels a day..............drop me a line

Thank you Lena

Sounds just like a place I reviewed some 15 years ago in Essex, England. The new owner was proudly surveying his snip - beautiful old farmhouse in need of major restoration. As we approached a grossly overgrown duck pond he threw his cigar into the pond. A few seconds later we noticed flames from beyond the surrounding high grass. They got bigger and bigger until the whole pond was engulfed. Can you imagine his frustraton when the emergency services put the phone down on him for the third time?

Consider listening to someone appealing for..."help my duck ponds on fire!!!" They sent the police first ready to arrest him for wasting their time...LOL!!!

Apparently an old shed which was on high ground above the pond had been leaking heating oil or something similar for some considerable time and it must have seeped down the embankment, according to the fire chief.

A gloriously eventful episode!!!

Lena; your kind thoughts and promise of your father's precious land will not meet my client's needs on this occasion.

Thanks anyway...

Olly

I know you need it bigger Olly, but there is one of the few large plots left in central Hurghada (Red Sea), second line, but in front public beach, so good sea views guaranteed. 200 000 sqm. If it fits still, I can send a quote.

A little bird told me that although hundreds have bought property in Dubai, they have no title to the land. Can anyone confirm or deny if this is correct.

Niloofar, Hi

Sorry but Dubai is now very high risk for any developer. I know because I deal with some of the largest in the Gulf. They are all moving off to other destinations and me with them.

Too many problems about to break in this area. However, wish you lots of luck...

Olly
