Default Starting a overseas property business

Hi

I recieved an email from a company that i bought through, it is about being a part of the company , they take on new members with no fee to be paid and give you daily support. Here is the email i recieved , at the moment i wont be able to commit any time to this but maybe it might appeal to others.

Worldwide frontiers Ltd is an established company that has sold millions of pounds worth of overseas investment property .With our knowledge and experience we are launching an exciting new program to invite people like you to start there own business in partnership with ours. It took a lot of time , effort and of course money to make it successful and we would pass this onto the successful partners for free. We will help are members with the start up of the website , providing great projects to sell and also help you with finding and closing clients .

To have a successful home based business is a lot of peoples dreams so hopefully this will excite you and get you onboard on team. By using our methods and having our daily on going support you have every chance of success. It is in our own interest that you succeed as no sales = no commission , we ask for NO UP FRONT FEE , this will show you are commitment to you. Earning potential is really what you put into it but to give you an idea the least amount per sale would be around £2000 anything upto £10,000+ . Also to make it easier for you if you have problems with closing a client or don’t have time we will take over the lead and if successful you will still receive the same amount of commission , does that sound fair to you ? All we do ask for is a monthly fee of £50 which gives you full support on a daily basis and providing you with new projects over the years to come.

So, they have sold millions of pounds worth of property. Pretty impressive for a company formed in March last year. Website only has an 0845 number for contact, no address, and they are offering to sell plots of land without planning permission as good investments. Say no more.

Why are people so negative all the time, how can this be a bad thing ?? Everyone opinion is different so i respect yours , but all this is, is to offer people to start a business asking for no captial up front and share commission if a sale is made, If a company sells 40 units a year at £100,000 average that is £4,000,000 of property sold that isnt so hard within 18 months. I know there is alot of bad examples of companies out there but not all them are .

Well, if you are in regular contact ask them to correct the spelling mistake & grammatical error on their home page. Your initial post is nothing more than advertising spam. Any company involved in peddling plots without planning permission should be avoided; that's just one reason I'm 'negative'.

I agree. The announcement alone screamed of spam. Plus, why would I want to peddle somebody's product in the hopes of making commissions? I don't get this type of forum spamming (that's what I think it is anyway).

Whatever happened to selling "au naturel"

Here´s an idea. Phone every real estate agent you can find in the yellow pages. Offer to supply them with referrals and take a cut in the commission. Most companies will offer you 30%, but with the UK market the way it is at the moment, you could negotiate your way up to 50%!

No monthly maintenance fees. Some will build you a web site for free and any international agent relying on the UK market will snap your arm off for the business.

However, don´t rely on making a fast buck. I just got paid out on a deal I did in December 2006!

Be lucky

I cant see anything wrong with this at all, as its fairly standard practice.

All they are saying is, help us sell some properties and we will pay you a commission, and I cant see anything wrong with that.

Besides, you DONT have to sell a development/project if you dont want to.

Also selling off plots of land/properties that doesnt have planning permission, while not recommended, certainly isnt illegal. How do you know the planning hasnt been submitted and is waiting to be processed? After all, no planning permission didnt stop hundreds of people buying on Mediterranea Saidia in Morocco, when it was first launched, and no-one had planning permisssion there at that time.

No Planning Permission just makes the risk that much greater, but at the end of the day, its down to the individual buyer to weigh up the Risk/Reward factors and to decide for themselves is it not?
