Default Where to buy??

Welcome all,
My wife and I are both invalids and are much better when we are in the warmth. We cannot afford to buy in the South of France, but does anyone know other areas we should consider. Very short, cold winters would be OK. Any ideas??
Regards

Default Where to buy??

Hi Lukas,
No, it's a fact, I remember once seeing a map. Isn't it due to the Atlantic drift coming up the west coast? There's a narrow coastal area between southern Britanny and the Vendee that has as much sunshine and summer temperatures similar to the Cote d'azur.Coastal Charente is quite good too I think.
Warm Regards

How about moving to the tropics? There's always sunshine and warmth there. Several retirement villages are going up in Subic bay, Philippines, and the local cost of living is low to boot.

There are many options. How far are you willing to fly. Consider Chile, Israel, Brazil, Florida, Austalia or New Zealand. Some other places are great, keep in mind the weather conditions.

Regards,

bitton

Default why not Bulgaria?

Hi, Bulgaria is a very nice place, too. South West part of it has a very pleasant climate conditions. Buying property here could be a very good investment due to the fact Bulgaria joined the EU and prices will grow next couple of years. I'm the sales manager of one of the leading realtors in this part of the country and would be happy to help you with your choice. If you're interested, please do no hesitate to contact me.

Default Close to Home Italy

If you like the sound of the south of France then you will love the new area in Southern Italy, it is a fantastic place to purchase property and very affordable as direct flights have only just started in the last couple of months. The weather is fantastic, a little better than southern Spain and is only a 2 hour 30 min flight from England. This will be the new St Tropez in a couple of years time.

I have just been over and looked all round the region and have purchased in Jewel of the Sea. If you would like more info please mail me on fuzzbite@hotmail.com and I will be happy to tell you more.

Default Buy property in Belize

You should try to purchase land in Belize Central America. This Country has the largest Barrier Reef in this part of the Hemisphere.
