I wanted to give everyone a sneak Peek at the latest Ecco friendly luxury Resort in the Caribbean on the Islands of Bocas Del Toro of the coast of Panama.

The development will go online at the end of this month. It will operate as a 5 star resort managed by the Preferred Hotel Group.

THEME:
Emerald Monkey embraces a traditional design found in similar near- equator island communities across the globe -- from Sri Lanka to Trinidad, French Polynesia to Bali. ENVIRONMENTAL:
Emerald Monkey will be the first zero carbon footprint community in the world. Electrical power is produced by (Petroleum free) hydropower (river water). All pools in the community are saltwater pools eliminating any chemical, chlorine and pool filtration equipment. Potable water is from natural mountain springs and the organic fruit and vegetable farm is free of pesticides. All buildings are composed of sustainable materials.

LOCATION:
Shepherd Island is a secluded island close to the mainland of Panama in the Archipelagos of Bocas Del Toro in the Caribbean Sea. Emerald Monkey Eco-Luxe Resort is an exclusive development built in the Balinese tradition by Balinese craftsmen and utilizing only sustainable building products mainly from Indonesia and Thailand. The project is solar powered, uses natural spring water and will have its own organic fruit and vegetable farm. The level of service is expected to be a five star-plus concierge service.

This looks GREAT!

The idea of Ecco living brings together the best of both worlds...luxury living and preservation of the environment. I am intrigued by the idea of sustainable living. It is something which I hope will become a central theme in many more development projects, especially in the Caribbean.

Would the developer be interested in developing similar Eco-resorts on other islands? If so, please contact me. I think something like this can do VERY well on Curacao as well, and I would be very willing to promote it.

Looking forward to getting involved with such a project. This is definitely a trend well worth following! And since the Caribbean is a known hot spot for mass tourism ( much to the detriment of the environment at times), I welcome such a development. Luxury and preserving our environment CAN go hand in hand...they do not have to be mutually exclusive, else we ALL lose in the long run.

Hope you like, when the project was first brought to me I just feel in love with the location. Then when read what they are doing with the resort I knew I wanted to get involved.

Its good to be selling just more than another High Rise or beach front property that will be a great rental property.

The location of Panama makes this an ideal location, with no fear from Earthquakes, Hurricanes or flooding.
