Hi Ian ,
In the DR at the moment,
Antigua is really nice and sailing week was good to see with loads of exspensive boats etc etc
There is some interesting stuff over there being built now on the west coast especially. The market there apparently has been very good for a few years now and a lot have made good profit.
You can see why it is lovely, beaches fantastic and no one on them and also very British, anywhere that plays cricket is alright by me!

Dom Rep is REALLY interesting and the hotel is looking really nice now.
Unfortunately dragging my heels back to the UK tomorrow, reluctantly i must say. It can be a really nice life over here.
Expenses are minimal and trades is really good for someone who knows what they are doing ( which rules a lot out)

I know an excellent property on Margarita Island, it's an old hotel that needs renovation, but it's on the beach in Pampatar and the price is $650,000. It needs to be completely renovated, which would cost about $800,000, but it could be sold as condo units for about a $2 million to $3 million dollar profit after renovation.

As of a week ago it was sold, but on Friday the partners who were investing in this had a disagreement, and they walked out on the deal. Someone will get a sweet deal on this, but it won't be around long.
