Yes I would certainly rate the company with regards to the knowledge that the sales staff had within their own fields. Unfortunately as the number of people that were being employed to market their properties through various mediums was constantly growing, the emphesis was on the sales team to produce more sales. It was at the point when the management declared that any sales person was allowed to sell any development in any country that the who fabric of the company came apart.
Instead of enquiries coming in and being transfered to specialists within that particular field, they were literally handled by the person that answered the phone in a more general manner and without being able to give specific answers to initial questions.
This, much to the demise of the company was seen from a potential clients point of veiw, as being the sort of responce you would get from a call centre not a company renowned for its 25 years of experience and knowledge within the industry.
The majority of the sales were done through their sales team rather than through their agents so this more generalisation in their approach to handling incoming enquiries was the main reason for their downfall........thats my opinion anyway

Cool was that what happened?

yes we all hated the free for all approach to incoming leads...it was painful having to sit there whilst somebody else tried to give a client advice on an area in which they did not specialise.....

when we were in our 4 teams, (spain) (florida) (turkey) (morroco) we were at our best...

superior blamed developers and the crunch...serene you believe it all went pete tong when TC left..we had the PT NIGHTMARE...and then SG took over..and the joke that was the new CEO (smokescreen) .....this is certainly true for the decline in quality on the sales floor...the company lacked leadership..we had nobody to inspire us. but these arguments only became issues because the sales pipeline had mysteriously dried up....

i think the expansion in the industry as a whole is what led to the demise...all of a sudden there were hundreds of countries too choose from...and we were not able to adapt quick enough to the changing market..

i always blamed our lack on presence on the net...we were all about daily mail ads and exhibition stands...we had this unusual urge to keep booking really expensive ads with one media agency..and we loved our big stand at shows..even though there an outdated sales format...(unless your names amanda who is still busy rinsing everybody and climbing her way up the celebrity listings..i think she is up to Y now...)

the companys doing well now are all about net presence, seo's, google ads..etc....

can you believe that superior never placed a google ad? I reckon they thought that seo stood for secretary to executive officer...

old school ideas and one to many at the 19th hole...

it was good..while it lasted!
