Default Investment in Property in Beijing

Hi,
Has anyone thought of investing in property in Beijing? With the Olympics coming up and new infrastructure it could be a good investment. 25% annual growth expected but no guarantees in these times. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Logan

Default Investment in Property in Beijing

Hi Logan,
There was an article in either the Sunday times or Examiner in the last 2 weeks about the changes in the law in China regarding foreign ownership. From what i can remember it's much the same as Persius said above
Regards
Lorenzo

Olympic is not only boosting tourism in Beijing, beijing property market will also likely benefit from the millions of visitors from abroad. With five months to go, many Beijing residents are preparing to offer their houses for rent.

Foregeigners as individuals are allowed to buy one property only, on the premise that they haved lived in China up to one year.

I'm a real estate agent in Beijing and I know this market quite well. The prediction is that the real estate market in China is not going to slow down in the short term. More and more apartment buildings are springing up and people's enthusiasm to buy is not being surpressed by the price. The return on investment can reach as high as 30%, due to the Olympics.

I have apartments/villa/offices for rent/sale in Beijing and I help foreign expats on real estate investment decisions. Questions are welcomed. Thanks.

Its not same law to buy property in china,I mean it depend on where you want to buy.
In beijing ,foregeigners as individuals are allowed to buy one property only, on the premise that they haved lived in China up to one year,Yes,thats ture.
But in Shenyang where i m live , it is different, you can buy it with your passport.

I have a lot of new property for sale in Shenyang, there are too many investment opportunities here, and also I offer to give the owner who buy here a "Free Chinese 10 years tour Plan"

pm to me if you have interest in this
