Default Sea View Resort and Skyline Residence - Bogaz

Has anyone bought anyything at the SeaView Resort or Skyline Residence in BOGAZ. The agents are MEDVIEW HOMES. Are they a reputable company. Are the prices good compared to all other developments.

What is the average price per sqm for apartments in North Cyprus especially in the Bogaz area.

Thanks

I am in Southern Cyprus and to be honest I would never recommend any one buying in Northern Cyprus.
Apart from all of the problems already well known about regarding most of the land that is being built on belonging to Greek Cypriots and the legal and political problems, there are also more and problems emerging.
The infrastructure in Northern Cyprus is not able to cope with the boom in building and many people are now finding themselves with houses which are finished but no electricity or water.
We know of people (friends of friends) who have been told that their house will not have any electircity or water for at least 5 years because the infrastructure cannot cope.
If you have not already committed yourself think very very carefully before you do.
YES the prices are cheaper than in the South. But there are many reason for it.

Hi,
I dont personally know the area as we live in the Paphos area. However we have been told it by contacts that it is a nice area.
The only problem we have with the Eastern side of Cyprus is that the holiday season is much shorter than the Paphos area as the winters are much colder on that side of the island so rental potential is not as good. However the summer months are much hotter and the beaches are nicer than the Paphos area so during the summer months the Eastern coast is very popular.
I think that for anyone wanting summer beach holidays the Eastern coast is great but anyone looking for somewhere to live year round the Paphos area is the best.

Have you actually been there and checked out the location & development ?.

It's not exactly a prime tourist area.
