Buying property in North Cyprus

Can any one help or advise on buying property in Cyprus. I am in the process of reserving a property in a place called Alsancak. Does anyone know it. They are apartments and seem extremely cheap. Can you recommend a solicitor to help etc.. Just any help would be appreciated.
