I'm sure the Olympics would be all over the UAE, but so what, Sports city will still get a share of it, and that would be exciting.
I've just had it confirmed that my 14th floor flat overlookig the cricket ground is now a 16th floor.
My agent reckons I'll be able to see the Burj dubai tower from there, anyone here know how far away the two are from each other.
Of course there'll be a mass of construction in between, but with the height of that tower, and as I'm facing that direction, there could be a chance.
or am I being a bit optomistic???

You might see the burj dubai since I dont think there will be any higher project between cricket stadium and burj.
I visited SC last week and if I m not mistaken there is some activities near cricket stadium related to profile real estate. . . .
good luck

Hello - I have just registered on this site and can't yet start a new thread - however my questions are very similar to this thread ...
We are based in UK. I wonder if any of you could recommend a good developer in the Sports City Area? My husband and I are new to this and are looking to buy a studio off plan, ideally from an established developer, but would consider resale. Do any of you know of any pre-release offers coming up? There are so many projects, we would be grateful from some un-biased advice!
kind regards
Sarah

Hello mpat, Thanks for your prompt reply. As this is our first investment in Dubai we are looking for a studio and realise that the going rate for these in Sports City is about 1100 AED / sq foot, so it depends on the location / size of apartment etc. On these figures an apartment of say 600 sq ft would cost 660000AED. I suppose it also depends on payment options etc. However, if there is a bargain from a reputable developer we would obviously be very interested. Could you receommend a good websit or where we can find suitable properties?
kind regards, Sarah

In sports city, most of the developers are new , but they are working at site and I can suggest you some good developers , one of my friend was selling his studio of 383 Sq Ft at around 960 per square foot in sports city which was a good deal to grab.Keep checking and let me know if I can be of any help.
Bye

mpat, can you tell me if you would class Profile developers as new?.
Or are they average, or seasoned ? .
I ask because I hear some rather conflicting reports.
I haven't heard anything particularly bad, but as you're there, I would value your opinion.
thanks.
