Default Be Very Careful who you purchase from.

I bought or at least i thought i bought a 3 bedroom Eden Gardens unit in Sports City from an Agent called 3D Venture, on paying 20% of the purchase price i am legally meant to receive the ownership agreement. It has been six months now and i and still haven't received it.

They have refused to answer any emails and i can never get through to the right person when i phoned.

I have now flown our there to try and resolve the situation, and finally got to see someone, although the meeting was as good as useless.
I have since found out they are in dispute with the developers and are not allowed to even sell the development. I have also found out now, they have done this to at least 6 other people all who have paid anywhere between 20 and 30% and are all in the same situation.

To put it in a nutshell they have stolen our money and refusing to give it back. We are now proceeding down the legal route.

So please do your homework on which agent you choose and
DO NOT use 3D Venture!!!

Hello all
I mentioned this on another thread
I went to sports city only last thursday, went through motor city and after going through what is litrally a desert with sand storm , i was stunned to see the mortor city almost all done
the racing track , the stadium, another one glass building for sales , plenty of buildings and houses almost finshed , witha race for F2 was on friday and saturday with international drivers training , it was a sight that made me relax so much , having bought in sports city.
I continued and saw a huge stdium didnt go inside but all the parks are ready, and there was a huge building almost in the 30th floor, also some 6 or 8 buildings for the same developer , as I recall FALAK were in the 8th story, also the canal is dug and almost finished , some lots were surrounded with boarders and some devlopers names were there , on the boarders , road , one side was done for golfing with grass , I tell you it is going really fast .
wish i had pictures , i on the other hand have not seen anything for the developer i bought from , whom already sold 6 buildings in the area .
i dont think anything will be ready by end of 2008
hope i was of some help

The place is going to be blocked up with traffic in a few years,
I think we all agree on that,
I currently live in Moscow, which has just gone through huge property price increases, and if there is one distinct selling/rental point, it is proximity to the metro.
I believe the new proposed Dubai metro will have stops at the Stadiums ( makes sense) and if true, I think this fact alone will make property there worth it's weight in gold.
Any opposing views most welcome for discussion

OASIS TOWER is under construction, I think in the beginning stage and with less people to work there.I am due to visit the place again after 10 days, where I will send you pictures from the site.

Just following on from what I said, does anyone know how comprehensive the metro system will be?
A diagram or map would be great, but if not available, anyone know how many stops, how large an area??
The metro here in Moscow is suprisingly fantastic, about the only efficient public service there is.
I think there are 90 stations all over the city and you never wait more than a few minutes for a train to arrive, less during peak hour.

I'm not a train spotter or have some fetish by the way , but it will be a very important part of Dubai's infrastructure
