It does look incredibley close, though still quite hard to tell from the photo.
The developer said the distance was 100 metres, looks more like 30 or 40m isn't it?

Between the road and stadium isn't there like a walkway for spectators etc??

The worry also is with what is being planned there, ie stadia , malls, offices, how on earth will a road that size service it all internally.
Looks like a constant traffic jam already !!

Yes that was around 40m distance,
I dont think there was a walkway, but I guess there will be an internal walkway in the stadium which will take ppl to entry and exit gates.Let s hope that Main Entrance of the stadium be on the EMIRATES road side (thts wher it should be )
The main thing is only time will tell about the trafiic. But I m sure that authority has planned easy, hasslefree traffic movements. Surprisingly DSC site office and headquarter(!!!) is just around the corner from the stadium.

Well if my maths and angles are correct, I reckon from the 16th floor, at a distance of only 40m, I'll be selling tickets to watch the cricket from my balcony.
Why are you suprised the DSC site office and headquarters are close by?
I only mean, they have to be somewhere, and it is an office-ey type area.

Yeah I agree that it will be a great thing if cricket or any other events could be seen from your balcony, but I doubt since they have covered around 15% of the ground with that white dome which might kill the view from near by buildings.

I was surprised as they must have considered the fact that buildings / shopping malls and otehr stadiums are so close to each parting with small road only.that is why I said that they might have kept the entrance from the front side.
Lets see when it gets ready,
bye

Does anyone have any updates on Champions Tower? I read some comments which were negative about the developers. I have not had that good a relationship with them so far, but I have been over and at least building has started though it has been delayed. Would appreciate if anyone has opinions about the development or the developers

Thanks for the information about Champions Tower. I have some pictures from the developers that I will post up when I get a chance. They have told me that it is not expected to be completed till June 2009 now, though that seems to be something that is common to a lot of properties in DSC

This is going to sound like quite a strange question, but I would appreciate if anyone knows the answer, or can direct me to a website that can.

Here we go :
How High will that new Cricket stadium be, with the huge dome on top??

There are many people who have bought apartments thinking they will have a lovely view OVER the Cricket stadium, if you watch the video about it (in link in the post- "An overview of Sports City") it looks like it could swallow a 15-20 storey building.

This is quite a critical question for those people on that side of Stadium point.

Any ideas????? Free dinner on me to the first correct answer

Thanks in Advance

Dear Investors in Elite projects.

Just a quick update...Construction has started on Elite 1 and Elite 2. Elite 3 will start in the next few weeks followed by Elite 4 in June. Elite 5 is scheduled for July and you guessed it Elite 6 for August.
As for the Triplanet website, this should be updated within one month.
Hope this helps some of you.
If I can, I will post an recent (as in today) aerial photo of Sports City and you can work out where your building is...or should be.
