Moving to Dubai ? Idea about rent?

Hello,

I'm new to ExpatFocus but can quite easily see me becoming a regular. I'm 22 years old and, having graduated last month, went on to accept a job in Dubai working in the media sector. I fly from Glasgow to start work on September 1st. The money is good and I thrive on new experiences and all that so it seems ideal. I'm actually really looking forward to just getting out there and I'm not nervous at all - which, in turn, makes my entire family very nervous! Please suggest some good accommodation. I will take it on rent initially. What is rent over there?
