Default Hi

I bought a flat in this building, more than 1 year ago. I paid around 63% of my payment.
2 day before, I call to Lokalwala and they told me, construction still not started and almost probably will start, end of this month. They took agreement of Master Developer (Dubai Sport City) but they have problem with municipality. I hope this information to be correct.
If anybody has more information about this building, please inform me. Better we will discuss about this case.
Best Regards,
Hourad

Hi POG and all

If you guys can put location map of eden gardens,I can check there physically for you.I think payment of 60 to 70 percent is too much for the developer to start working,Thank god I did not invest in it.

Lokandvala's are reputed developers in India and have a good name. Wonder where they went wrong. Was it that the land was not handed over to them or they just mucked up on an unknown territory.

Would be interesting to know.

Has anyone heard of Champions Tower? Is it a reputable developer behind it?

Hi Hourad,

Do you know what sort of problem they have with the municipality? I have been asking them when they will start construction since October 2006, and they ALWAYS say that it will be in the next few weeks!

Thanks....

Hi Roshan,

When you mention about them mucking up on unknown territory or not getting land handed over to them, do you have any information on this, or is that just speculation? I was told that the delay was due to a re-design of the parking podium - I was not aware of any other, deep-rooted problem. If so, is it wise to carry on making future payments?

Thanks.

I am just speculating and suprized as well, as Lokandvala are conidered premium builders in India.

Redesign of the parking podium could be a reason. Motorcity had underground parking but the municipality had some objections and they had to change the design, but that did not stop construction.

I would suggest you do not make any future payments. I have sent letters to my developers that I will not pay until I see tangible developments on site.

Regards

Roshan

There are very few if not none good developers in Sports city. Look at the irony, a place with so much potential but no reputed developers.

All the problems I am hearing with devlopers in Sports city is terrifying.

Hi Roshan
Do you know any specific problem about developers in Sports City?I heard of this for champions tower developers and none else.
I agree with you that all in SC are not well known who can claim to be the biggest or best but are with good management and attitude.take example of falak, chapal , profile , rufi .these ppl are well managed even though they are less reputed.
