I don't want this to turn out into a war between Damac and me. My likes could easily be somebody else' dislikes.

What I am trying to say i that the interior space in Damac properties tend to take the shape of the building.

Interior space is optimized when it's a square or a rectangle.

I will PM you on the layouts. No offence.

Regards

Roshan

Thanks for your answer and your pm which I've read. I take on board your comments, and of course it's not meant to be a war and will never be. Everyone is entitled to his opinion, and no one is above criticism. The clarification was only requested to see if it could be taken on board for future projects.

Thx again,
Rammah

Please do so as this would definitely put Damac into an unbeatable position. Damac has one of the best exterior finishing. All they need is to bring it to the inside.

All they have to do is follow the Keep it simple principle. Preferred spaces are still square or rectangular spaces in my opinion. If you enter an office, a square or a rectangular office is more pleasing to the eye than an irregular shape. Space is better utilized when it's a square or a rectangle

I am glad that you took it well as I did not mean to hurt anybody. It was just an opinion as you said.

Good luck

Regards

Roshan

Roshan - just responded to you in another thread, saying how well you'd done in Business Bay. I'm also interested in Abu Dhabi, but haven't been out there yet. I'd be interested in any comments you have about developments out there. Please feel free to pm me or respond here. Many thanks!

Hydra had advertised for apartments and serviced apartments on the Gulf News. This was on Al Reem Island. It was in the secondary as an investor had bought the full building. The payment structure was good. I will PM the details to you.

If I come across anything I will let you know.

DAMAC has some of the best building designs and stuff and they also boast 52 projects in 9 countries (or something like that)

out of all those projects only 2 or 3 haf actually been delivered.. i'm not saying they're going to run away with ur money.. but according to what i've heard, u'll haf to wait for a prettty long time to get ur apt. if u bought one with them.

there was also some news about them having sold out an entire building but not even owning the land where the building was supposed to be built! (they've negotiated and gotten the land now i think.. but kinda reflects poorly on them)

apart from that.. DAMAC's reputation is probably one of the best for luxury projects. A Damac property will probably increase in value because of the kick-ass marketing they do for their projects and how they've slowly developed a brand name!

Hi Sameer,

Do you mind telling us all about the location within Abu Dhabi and the expected pre launch price per square foot [roughly speaking is fine]?
Also, commercial or residential?

Regards,

Rammah
