Question Credit crunch impact on Dubai properties?

Hi all,

I was wondering what are your views on the impact of the global credit crunch/ possible recession on prices of properties in Dubai? Did this already have some impact or are still prices still merrily on the increase?

Good time to invest now?

Thanks!

WyP do your research and make up your own mind.Read the post on this forum 'Dubai is a bubble waiting to burst' Read 'Dubai Chronicles'on-line,Gulf news, all the arab papers,Arabian business etc and your'll get some idea. Its all to do with supply and demand. At the moment supply cant keep up.Developers are not delivering units on time so the year when supply equals demand keeps getting put back.2007 then 2008 then some say 2009,others say 2011.Personally I think theres another 2 years left of growth at least. But then alot depends on how many people move here.Who knows what the population will be in 3/4 years?Personally I think u should look at it long term and if u buy hang onto your property for at least 5/6 years.

I agree with Do buy.Keep searching and try to find the best one with more reliability.all projects delay is in evitable , but the developer should be professional.
