I am being offered an apartment there for 950 dhs / sq ft , do you think this a good place to invest and the price is right..???

no a good bargain .
Please share some details so some kind herated expert can evaluate your offering

In Jumeirah Village South the price /sqft is look like between 705 AED up to 1050 AED. It depends on other such as location or type or the project itself!
