Smile Looking to Rent In Dubai

Hi everyone

I am coming to Dubai to look for work. In the meantime I would like someone where to stay and not hotels.

I don't know where to start. I have checked a few sites and if my understanding is correct they would like a years rent in advance.

Please can someone give me some information and direction. I will not have a job in Dubai as I will be joining some recruitment agents. Ref can be taken from London.

If someone can help I look forward to your replies. Please don't say it's best to find a job before you come, as I have tried and most people are asking me when I could attend an interview in Dubai, so I can't win.

Thanks

Dear London 32,

I am afraid you have limited options.

Your best bet might be to take a short term rental, this can be expensive depending on your needs. You can find a few agencies through Google" short term Dubai rentals "

Book into a hotel. You might be able to get a good rate say for one month. Also note a couple of budget hotels have just opened and these might be cost effective ( Holiday Inn Express ) springs to mind.

Finally try http://www.expatriates.com/classifieds/dub/

Good luck.

Try googling for a furnished apartment. Try googling Richmond apartments, probably not the best in town but atleast something over your head and close to the city.

Good luck.

Regards

Roshan
