i went to have a look at your development with adele, she recommended it if i wanted the arabia area. i must admit the way she described it, it sounds wonderful sitting watching the sun going down with anice cold drink around the pool. i am still looking around but this is high on my list

I designed the layout with my personal ideas of evening sunshine - my apartment is the ground floor facing the sunset and a roof terrace.

The whole shape has been carefully worked to catch the most sun any time of year, unlike most of the others blocks which are designed to point everyone towards the sea.

The latest construction photos show that the sun is behind the apartments - just where I want it.

I have to say that given all the other views on this subject I'll have to get an update direct from the manager in Hurghada whilst I'm there next week.

It may be that due to terminology and translations issues that what is really on offer is a personal loan for property purchase, but without using the property for security, ie it is not a mortgage.

There are two rates of interest - one for Egyptian currency and another for Sterling - no point in stating what is was in September since I'm sure it has changed.

But whatever it is called I'm quite sure that if you have the option to borrow in the UK then that would be better for most people.

The basis for the bank lending will be the same as in the UK - it will be based on your current worldwide financial position, NOT just on what is known in Egypt - I know that HSBC will use UK based organisations to check UK domiciled individuals.
