I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our newly launched company Egypt Real which brings together the combined experience of the Directors, Peter Mitry & Nick Pendrell who between them have more than 20 years experience in International Real Estate.

One area which has been consistently strong during 2007 is the Red Sea Coast of Egypt and in particular Hurghada. During the past year more & more people have visited the Red Sea, and have come to appreciate the amazing opportunities which are available for low cost property ownership. In 2008 I am sure that we will see mortgages available for non residents at more affordable rates of interest, together with more and cheaper flights going to Egypt’s regional airports.

With thousands of years of history and 365 days a year of sunshine there is no doubt that this is the year that Egypt will come into it’s own as a residential tourism destination.

Egypt Real has been formed to fulfil the needs of potential buyers visiting the area looking for a ‘one stop shop’ for property purchase. From 1st February 2008 our Director, Nick Pendrell, will be permanently based in Hurghada to meet and greet potential buyers, carry out a full review of their requirements and arrange a viewing schedule of the best projects which suit their needs and budget. We will also carry out due diligence on the major Developers to protect both our clients and ourselves.

Nick Pendrell spent some time in Hurghada in the latter part of 2007 and has published Propertastic’s Complete Guide to Hurghada Property and Egypt’s Red Sea Riviera Real Estate. Since the book was published by Amazon in late December Nick has been hailed as the expert in Red Sea property and is definitely the right man to look after you during your visit.

What an amazing first fortnight! I arrived in Hurghada late on 25th January, with Nick arriving just one week later. Our feet have not touched the ground! 27 properties sold in just two weeks by just two people must be some kind of a record. More and more agents from the UK & Spain are now seeking to use our services as well as many new ones from central and Eastern Europe.

Thankyou to everyone who has supported us; you can rely on us 100% to find only the best projects with full Due Diligence and to continually seek out new niche projects which are unlikely to be available except through Egypt Real.

Nick Pendrell is now permanently established in Hurghada and I intend to move out with my family at the earliest opportunity. We also need agents to represent us in Sharm el Sheik and Marsa Alam.
